Argentines Head Back to the U.S. Egged by Greater Confidence in Tourism

The travel market between Argentina and the United States is beginning to bounce back, especially in the business travel segment.

Following a strong decline triggered by the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S. and the economic crisis that Argentina went through in 2002, things are now starting to look better for the tourist industry, chiefly as far as the number of business travelers is concerned, according to a report issued by the local Visit USA Committee.

For Argentine travelers, their top picks in the States are New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas.
