Antigua Resort Completes Renovations, Freezes 2009 Rates

Curtain Bluff resort in Antigua just completed renovations that will enhance the property for the 2008-2009 winter season. In addition to making these renovations, management at the resort has announced that they are freezing their rates in 2009.

The renovations include new spa-like bathrooms, which were installed in all 18 deluxe rooms and 12 bluff suites. Also, the main bar was completely redone to extend to the outside patio. Additionally, a second bar area with chairs on the outside of the original Sugar Mill Bar was opened to accommodate the increased amount of guests the resort can host.

The bar at the beach restaurant was also enhanced with new refrigeration for wine and cold drinks, new blenders, dishwashers and an improved flow to facilitate better service for the guests. The fitness center was outfitted with all new Cybex equipment. Last year, the resort opened the Spa at Curtain Bluff, a facility overlooking the ocean with five treatment rooms.
