Islands magazine has selected and ranked “The World’s Top 20 Villas.” Editors, local experts from around the world as well as guests voted for the best villas for relaxation, a scenic location, and those special villas that allow guests to retreat but also engage in the island’s offerings. The Bird of Paradise was the only villa honored for Anguilla, St. Martin or St. Barths.

Designed in an Asian tropical style with multiple buildings intertwined with lush landscape and lagoon-style pools, the Bird of Paradise overlooks a perfect crescent beach and the mountains of St. Martin and St Barths beyond. The villa offers guests all the privacy and comforts of home ownership, but all of the services and amenities of a resort. An executive chef, in-villa spa treatments and a Kids’ Club are just some of a long list of options available to guests.

Standard services and amenities include daily continental breakfast and housekeeping, 24-hour concierge, complimentary phone calls to the U.S., Canada and Europe, wireless Internet, as well as Italian linens and Bvlgari amenities. There is a staff of seven. Guests do not share facilities or staff with any other villa.

Special summer/fall rates start at $1,796 per day with exclusive use of the entire estate. This four-suite villa with multiple living and dining experiences is ideal for families and couples, but also perfect for a wedding or honeymoon. This summer and fall, Free Nights are offered with five nights for the price of four and seven nights for the price of five. The offer is valid until November 19, 2010.
