Angela San Miguel Becomes CATA´s New Executive President

The Central American Tourism Council (CCT) and the Tourism Chamber Federation of Central America (FEDECATUR) have just appointed Mexican-born Angela San Miguel new executive president of the Central America Tourism Agency (CATA), an organization headquartered in Spain´s Madrid.

Until last February, Mrs. San Miguel was serving as general manager of CATA Promotion and Marketing. A bachelor in Economics and Entrepreneurial Sciences, Mrs. San Miguel has a longstanding record in the promotion of Mexico´s travel industry.

From her new post, Mrs. San Miguel will ramp up ad actions aimed at the advance of Central America´s leisure sector in collaboration with such major outbound markets as Spain, Germany, the U.K., Italy and France.
