AMResorts Names Bertha Castillo Brings New Corporate Spa Director

AMResorts has appointed Bertha Castillo as the company´s new corporate spa director. Castillo will oversee the vision for and development of the spa facilities at the company´s 11 resorts in the Dominican Republic and Mexico under the Secrets Resorts & Spas, Dreams Resorts & Spas, and Sunscape Resorts & Spas brands.

"Bertha has a wealth of experience creating world-class spas from the ground up with an eye for creating impeccable guest perception," said AMResorts President Alex Zozaya.

A spa industry expert, Castillo brings a variety of first-class spa experience from her years of work within Mexico. She has been responsible for promoting Cancun´s spas, with her prior position at the Cancun Convention & Visitor´s Bureau, as well as various hotel chains.

In her new role with the company, Castillo will enhance the atmosphere of wellbeing for guests, and through highly personalized services, showcase the standards of spa excellence associated with Preferred Hotels & Resorts worldwide, which Secrets and Dreams Resorts & Spas are affiliated. All spas within the collection are also members of the International Spa Association (ISPA).
