Almond Put Big Numbers on the Board in 2005
Almond Resorts International, chalked up a successful 2005 with expansion and renovation plans on target despite the challenges of this season´s weather.
The over U.S. $25 million renovation and expansion project started in late 2003 is nearing its completion, with spectacular results.
Summing up the year´s effort, Chairman and Managing Director, Ralph Taylor, said, “2005 was a banner year for us, and the outlook for next year is very promising. We have kept our growth targets firmly in focus, and our diligence has paid off handsomely.”
The 250-room Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort in St. Lucia, opened its doors in November, giving us our first base outside of Barbados.
In Barbados, the newly finished Almond Spa at the Almond Beach Club is drawing rave reviews. Elegant and clubby, exclusive yet relaxed, this spa reflects Almond Beach Club´s setting, letting in the peaceful beauty of the outdoors, with services that go beyond the expected spa offerings.
The first phase of the 170-room expansion at the Almond Beach Village has been completed and the five main restaurants have been expanded and enhanced to provide superlative service to our guests. Phase 2 will begin this spring.
