Air Madrid to Fly to Ecuador, Panama

Low-cost carrier Air Madrid will add a couple of countries to its list of destinations next July 12. With the addition of Ecuador and Panama, the fledgling Spanish airline will be flying to seven Iberian-American nations in all.

The partnership´s CEO and third-largest stockholder, Herminio Gil, announced Air Madrid´s intentions to start flying to Ecuador and Panama as soon as July 12.

The air company provides weekly flights to Punta Cana and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, to Brazil´s Rio de Janeiro, Peru´s Lima, Costa Rica´s San Jose, as well as to Cartagena de Indias and Bogota in Colombia.

With this new outreach into a couple of new destinations, Air Madrid is planning to move as many as 300,000 passengers a year at very unrivaled fares to destinations in Latin America that are not considered places of massive tourist turnouts.
