Air Jamaica Still the Caribbean´s leading airline

For the seventh year in a row, the national airline, Air Jamaica, has won top honors at the prestigious World Travel Awards, as it was named the ´Caribbean´s Leading Airline´ at the 11th annual World Travel Awards ceremony in Barbados.

The World Travel Awards employs an online voting system enabling thousands of travel agents and tourism professionals around the world to cast votes recognizing excellence in a number of industry categories.

One of the highest honors attainable in the travel industry, the World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional achievements in all areas of the travel and tourism sector.

Air Jamaica is also a proud five-time winner of the coveted ´Five Star Diamond Award´, presented by The Academy of Hospitality Sciences, a distinction that ranks Air Jamaica among the top airlines in the world.

The Caribbean Hotel Association (CHA) awarded Air Jamaica its ´2004 Crystal Palm Award for Excellence´, its most prestigious marketing honor, just last month. “Modern Bride” has named Air Jamaica ´Best Honeymoon Airline´ several times over the years as well.
