Air Jamaica to Start Nonstop N.Y.-St. Lucia Service

Air Jamaica will launch nonstop service between New York (JFK) and St. Lucia on February 23. The flights will operate Sunday, Monday and Thursday, departing New York at 7 a.m. and arriving St. Lucia at 12:35 p.m.
On the return leg the flight will leave St. Lucia at 6:35 p.m. and arrive in New York at 10:15 p.m.
“This will be the first nonstop service from New York to St. Lucia and it represents the initial phase of the opportunities we envision for our region,” said Mike Conway, Air Jamaica president and CEO.
O. K. Melhado, Air Jamaica chairman, said that the new route “underscores our commitment to exploit every feasible opportunity for growth and to increase the flying time of our existing fleet.”
