Air Jamaica to End Barbados Flights, Add to Grenada
Air Jamaica has announced that it will end its flights between New York/JFK and Barbados on April 20 but will add more weekly flights from JFK to Grenada. Air Jamaica had been flying twice weekly from JFK to Barbados.
On the plus side, Air Jamaica will add two new weekly flights –one in June and another in July- to its JFK-Grenada schedule, giving the carrier a total of four weekly flights out of New York to the Spice Island.
Air Jamaica also has announced that it will eliminate its signature onboard champagne service in economy class on May 1, citing competitive cost pressures.
