Air Europa to Add Weekly Flights to Cancun

Beginning in July and driven by an increasingly larger demand, Air Europa will put more weekly flights to Mexico´s Cancun, jumping from three planeloads of passengers a week (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) to five (Friday and Sunday, too).

The Madrid-Cancun-Madrid flight uses 263-seat Boeing 767 jetliners, offering 245 tourist-class seats and 18 business-class accommodations.

Air Europa, the air travel division of Globalia Corp., is now a company catering regular nonstop flights between Madrid and Cancun on a codeshare operational status with Aeromexico.

The air carrier, owned by Juan Jose Hidalgo, counts on a fleet of 32 Boeing-made aircraft that fly to a number of destinations in Spain and northern Africa.

Air Europa has signed collaboration agreements with Aeropostal, Aeromexico, Air France, Air Luxor, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, KLM, Malev, Southern Winds and Tunisair.
