Air Canada to Offer Direct Hawaii-Calgary Service

Beginning in December, Air Canada will offer nonstop, seasonal service between Calgary and both Honolulu and Maui.

To date the new service, scheduled to begin Dec. 5 to Kahului Maui and Dec. 6 to Honolulu, is the only nonstop flight from Calgary to the Islands, and according to Forget, will save passengers more than two hours of flight time in each direction when compared with other routings.

The Montreal-based carrier plans to offer up to five weekly flights on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft: up to three flights to Maui and two to Honolulu. Air Canada also offers 15 weekly flights between Hawaii and the city of Vancouver during the winter season.
