AeroMexico brings new comfort to passengers
AeroMexico, Mexico´s largest airline, inaugurated an innovative new Premier Lobby at Mexico City International Airport for Clase Premier passengers, Platinum and Gold Club Premier members, and SkyTeam Elite members. In addition, the airline has finished renovating its ticket counters in the domestic terminal and has started construction at the international terminal.
The projects, which cost $2.1 million and took four months to complete, are part of AeroMexico´s
integrated Airport Innovation Program designed to modernize facilities and streamline passenger processing at 14 Mexico destinations over the next five years.
"At a time when airlines are cutting back passenger amenities and services, AeroMexico is moving forward as planned to introduce innovations that cater to our customers," said Alejandro Yberri, AeroMexico´s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Services.
"Passenger surveys have revealed that travelers want their check in at the airport to be fast, efficient and friendly. Our Airport Innovation Program´s goal is to provide the best experience at the start of the journey. AeroMexico´s Premier Lobby environment is far from the typical airport terminal hustle and bustle. The process is designed to ensure that our most valued passengers will not wait longer than five minutes."
To date, renovation also has been completed on AeroMexico airport facilities at Guadalajara, Monterrey, Culiacan and Hermosillo. Projects are partially complete at the Cancun and Tijuana airports.
