Aerolineas Argentinas reached a new milestone in its ongoing operations and customer service transformation with Sabre’s software-as-a-service revenue management solution to help improve the carrier’s revenue opportunities.

This latest implementation from Sabre Airline Solutions, the carrier’s technology provider of choice, is a continuing evolution of its software to help airlines increase revenue and operational efficiency through more targeted financial analysis.

With Sabre’s Revenue Manager software, Aerolineas Argentinas now has improved access to advance customer demand forecasts and flight details to calculate optimal inventory.

Sabre’s Revenue Manager provides real-time marketplace pricing and other competitive data so airlines can analyze the complex information and make informed revenue decisions. Among its key functions, Revenue Manager provides reservation data collection, customer choice-based forecasting, overbooking optimization, and competitor pricing data. All this information enables the airline to adapt to customers demands and competitive actions, resulting in better customer service and operations.

Aerolineas Argentinas continues to use Sabre’s revenue, network and flight planning solutions, to increase revenue while protecting airline inventory. The airline has the potential to generate incremental revenue up to 5-7 percent by using the Revenue Manager solution.

Sabre’s Revenue Manager solution will help the airline compete effectively with network carriers, low-cost carriers and fulfill operational standards by the SkyTeam alliance.

Aerolineas currently manages bookings worldwide through SabreSonic Customer Sales and Service (CSS), the industry’s most powerful revenue generating reservations system, and SabreSonic Web as its booking engine. The carrier provides access to its full content to all travel agents connected to the Sabre global distribution system.
